IS-KA Timber Beam Formwork System, created with H20 timber beams, steel walers, and plywood, is a preferred formwork system in many construction sites today. In the system, vertically used H20 timber beam elements are manufactured according to the EN 13377 standard. The formwork system can be adjusted to any height through the static design of H20 timber beams for column or wall elements (vertical supports).
A maximum fresh concrete pressure of 50 kN/m2 is taken into account in the design of wall formworks, and a maximum of 90 kN/m2 in the design of column formworks. However, project-specific designs for high concrete pressures and pouring speeds are possible by changing the H20 timber beam placement and steel waler design.
